Nathan St. Pierre may not be an official Captain of the Wild, but he is consdered to be a leader by the team. He leads both by example and verablly, on and off the ice. St. Pierre is one of the biggest offensive threats on the team, with his deadly combo of speed and skill.

St. Pierre may miss the net a lot, but that doesn't stop him from scoring a lot of goals. He has a fantastic wrist shot and a hard slap shot. When he can put his shot on net no goalie wants to be in the way. His goal scoring ability doesn't keep him from moving the puck to open players, however.

St. Pierre does a great job helping out in the defensive zone as a center. He is always in a good position on the breakout and, even though he finds himself on a lot of breakaways, he never gets caught up ice. He is an extremely hard worker and earns his scoring chances through that hard work. He is great in the face-off circle, winning a majority of his face-offs.

The coaches may constantly give him a hard time, but St. Pierre is truly a special player. The coaches hope to improve St. Pierre's shot accuracy as well as his skating technique.
