Wild Shutout Kearsarge

The Hanover Wild (10-4-0, 9-1-0 NHAHA) shutout Kearsarge (0-4-0 NHAHA) 12-0 at Proctor Academy.
This game was all Wild from the puck drop. Quinn Murnaghan knocked home his second goal is as many games to give the Wild the lead with an assist from Carter Auch and Archer Judd. Jake Reznek made it 2-0 after putting him a shorthanded goal after receiving a feed from Will Fichman. Auch got it done on the powerplay when he walked out of the corner and beat the Kearsarge goaltender to give the Wild a 3-0 lead.
The 2nd period was more of the same, Murnaghan starting off the scoring again with a wrist shot that deflected off a Kearsarge defender and into the back of the net. Auch then scored back-to-back goals in the same shift to complete his hat-trick. Auch's first goal was assisted by Murnaghan and his second goal was assisted by Ben Ives. Will Brannen added to the Wild's lead with a goal on the rebound with assists going to Ives and Reznek. Nathan St. Pierre capped off the scoring in the 2nd period with a powerplay goal on a slapshot high to the glove side with an assist going to Auch.
The 3rd period saw goals from Fichman, Ives, Teddy Lyons, and Reznek. Fichman's goal was shorthanded tally after using his speed to get a breakaway. Ives scored a powerplay goal after taking an illegal check from behind and making Kearsarge pay. Gregor Vogel was credited with the assist. Lyons put home a rebound in front with assists going to Auch and Vogel. Reznek finished the scoring after a great spin move in front of the net before blasting one into the back of the net with assists going to Murnaghan and Vogel.
Jackson Kapuscinski recorded his 2nd shutout in as many games in the 12-0 victory.
The Wild will not play until the New Year when they face the Keene Cobras (0-4-1 NHAHA) on January 2nd.
