The Hanover Wild (3-1-0, 3-0-0 NHAHA) defeated the Plymouth Predators (1-3-1 NHAHA) on the road 5-3.

The Wild remain road warriors as they remained undefeated in away games against the Predators. The Wild started slow in the 1st period, with Jackson Kapuscinski keeping the Wild in it early. Once they found their legs, the Wild scored goals on back-to-back shifts. The first goal coming from Quinn Murnaghan with yet another blast from the point that beat the Predator's goaltender, assisted by Ben Ives, and the second goal a beauty from Gregor Vogel, assisted by Will Brannen.

Vogel had been firing away the past few games, not able to find the puck luck to get the elusive goal. However, his hard work paid off on his 1st period goal giving the Wild a 2-0 lead. The Predators fought back, pulling within one after a goal late in the 1st period. Carter Auch responded just two minutes later with a goal of his own assisted by Nathan St. Pierre. The score was 3-1 after the 1st period with great play from both teams.

The Predators struck just a minute into the 2nd period, making it a one-goal game once again. Kapuscinski saved the Wild early in the 2nd period as the Predators continued to put on heavy pressure for the next four minutes. The Wild found their legs in the middle of the 2nd period and were able to regain their two-goal lead on a highlight reel goal from St. Pierre.

The Wild took their 4-2 lead into the 3rd period, where they gave up a goal in the first 6 seconds and continued a streak of sloppy starts. After some chippy play, the Wild earned a powerplay and were able to convert for the first time this season on yet another goal from St. Pierre--capping off a three-point night for the center.

Kapuscinski shut the door the rest of the way and the Wild took home a 5-3 victory and 3 points on the weekend. Will Fichman and Teddy Lyons played great defensively for the Wild, getting fantastic support from forward Jake Reznek when needed.

"I challenged them at the start of this week to put themselves in a position to take home all three points up for grabs this weekend." Dodds said. "They knew with hard work and max effort they would be able to do it. The next challenge is giving a full 36 minute effort."

The Wild look ahead to a doubleheader next Sunday where they play two more league games as they take on the Upper Valley Storm (1-1-0 NHAHA) and the Oyster River Cats (1-2-0 NHAHA).
