The Hanover Wild (2-1-0, 2-0-0 NHAHA) shutout the Henniker Huskies (3-2-0 NHAHA) 3-0 in their matchup at Clement Arena.
The Wild and Huskies played a great 1st period, the score staying even at 0-0. The Wild finally got on the board in the 2nd, tallying two goals, one from Quinn Murnaghan assisted by Will Fichman and the other from Nathan St. Pierre assisted by Ben Ives.
Murnaghan's tally would be all the Wild needed as Jackson Kapuscinski shut the door on the Huskies and earned his first shutout of the season. Archer Judd added an insurance goal from Jake Reznek to make the score 3-0 and send the Wild home with a great start to the weekend.
The Wild look ahead to tomorrow as they take on the Plymouth Predators (0-2-1 NHAHA) at the Plymouth State University Ice Rink.
